C.P. Company's classic La 500 Miglia Jacket combines a collared medium jacket style with both the iconic Goggle hood and watch viewer Lens detail, for an instantly inimitable look. Fitted with an array of secure utility pockets, as well as full front zip and storm flap fastening. Made in Flatt Nylon, a water-resistant woven fabric that is emerized via a high pressure rolling process, for a soft finish that combines with the garment dyeing treatment to produce a faintly washed effect.

An emerized - or sanded - nylon. Emerizing is the process of passing a fabric through gigantic rollers of emery paper (emery paper is like sand paper but finer and more resilient). The resulting fabric is softer and has a matt finish, similar to any fabric that has been been worn and washed many times.
