Linen has always been a part of C.P. Company research, and Spring/Summer 2017 marks a new evolutionary step. Vanguard is actually made out of linen, but with an high-tenacity nylon thread hidden in the warp. It gives a more technical look to the fabric, which became perfectly up-to-date, still retaining its natural, irregular, rough appearance. Linen fabric is naturally soft but also very strong. Also, it has the ability to absorb and lose water rapidly, favoring temperature control and consequently body wellness. Vanguard retains these natural features, but adds a Teflon treatment to maximize water, wear and stain resistance.
Every piece is double dyed. The dyeing process adds a three-dimensional effect and makes the fabric even more confortable, making it the perfect cloth to build classic blazers and unlined overcoats, great for warmer climates.
